Shariq Hasan
Managing Director
Shariq Hasan is the founder of Global PSM Solutions, Inc., a process safety and risk management consulting firm based in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Hasan is a known expert in process safety, and he has over fourteen years of specialized experience in process safety management, risk management, process engineering, operational excellence, quality control, quality assurance and project management. He has provided risk consulting services and training to many fortune 100 oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, mining, nuclear, and energy companies globally.
Mr. Hasan’s expertise include the management of process safety, process hazards analysis, and qualitative risk assessment. He is highly experienced in Hazard Identification (HAZID), Hazard & Operability (HAZOP) study, What-If study, Safety Integrity Level Assessment using LOPA.
Mr. Hasan has M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering (Canada) and M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry (Pakistan). In addition, he has acquired certificate courses in PHA Leadership and Methodology, Layers of Protection Analysis, WHIMS, Project Management, and ISO-9000 Quality Control.
